The best part about growing a beard is getting creative when shaving it off.

I didn't shave on our trip to Germany, and I didn't shave when we got back for about 5 days. That left me probably as heavily-bearded as I have ever been. During this time, I did not go jogging and I did not ride in the back seat of a car. A beard in the summertime is not such a great thing, what with the hotness and the grass clippings getting in it when I mow the grass, so I decided it was time to break out the blade.

For 12 hours, I sported this facial-hair-doo. I shaved it this morning at Stefanie's request.
