Brew at the Zoo 2005
Posted August 22, 2005 at 11:03:00 AM by Bean
Come one, come all, this weekend, accommodations available at my place for out-of-towners.
In so far: Seleb+wif, TP, Bean and Stef.
I'd like to point out that the brewery list includes but is not limited to the following:
BBC: Great, unique beers from Louisville. Kalamazoo: Michigans best offering and my favorite brewery, ever. New Albanian: My local watering hole! Hofbrauhaus: Cincy's take on the beer of her sister-city (Munich). The brewery lineup is exciting, in my humble opinion. And the thing that sets this beer-sample-fest apart from others is that you get tons of free food too! And to top it off, it's at a friggin zoo, so you can walk around and watch the monkeys sling poo and whatnot! Oh man, color me stoked!
$25 if you have me buy your tickets in the next few days, $35 at the gate. Leave a comment if you are interested in going.

In the middle of a time-phase shift adjustment, so I'm not sure I'll be there for ale and smell, however fun it seems. But a roadtrip seems in order, somehow.

So is that a yes? I think it is.

I would come but I have prior engagements. I wish I could come for just an hour or so but that is too much money for such a short time. Sounds like fun though.

can't make it, but wanted to let you know i had a good beer last night, from the Blue and Gray Brewing Company (i think) in Fredericksburg, VA. it's called Tun Tavern Pale Ale, named after the tavern where the USMC was founded, which isn't in the burg, but is in Phily. Anyway, good stuff. Mom's boyfriend tried it, and said it was too strong, and he'd stick with MGD...

When I first read your comment corbin I thought it said "from the Blew a Guy Brewing Company", which, frankly, doesn't surprise me.
