Undiscovered Laws
Posted April 28, 2003 at 09:18:26 AM by Bean

I don't remember all of the details of this story, but I do remember the importent part; the funny part.  I had a class my sophomore year with, among many other people, two fraternity brothers of mine, Tim Hancock and Richard Tate.  The professor was going on and on about how there are plenty of undiscovered laws and properties in the realm of physics and mathematics, and how we might be the ones to uncover them:

"Who knows... one of you might find the next one.  Maybe the 'Tate Principle' or the 'Hancock Relationship'."

With this, Richard held his hand in front of him, looked at it, then looked down at his crotch and smiled.  It was a relationship that most men already knew.
