Twin freestanding hallogen lights lit the garage for the Southside Indy Beerpong League season opening last night.  Veteran drunks m1 and Bean squared off against pong legend Koji and his rookie partner, Yuri.

Team Japan had home field advantage, but the newcomers inexperience proved to be an easy target for the Bens.  After two slams, Yuri's game play took a sharp downhill turn.  Almost slamming herself on several occasions, Yuri had to rely on her strong partner to keep the debut game close.

After many more slams and a good amount of hula-dancing (see next entry), the first SIBL game came to an end with the Bens beating Team Japan 21-17.  A good time was had by all, because in beerpong, everyone's a winner!
