This morning, I acheived a milestone.

I've been low-carb'ing it for about 6 weeks now, and losing a little weight here and there.  I'd say I was in the high two-teens at the onset.  But this morning, for the first time in quite a while (3 years?), I weighed in below 2 bucks.  The digital scale read 199.5.  I trust the scale to be reasonably accurate based on the fact that it matched the scale at the doctor's office a week earlier when stef compared.  Of course, the 199.5 reading was in the early morning, and I was wearing nothign but my tighty-whiteys, but I'm still going to claim victory.  Also, based on my m-dot in (not much) versus m-dot out (more than expected) this morning, I'd say I am probably a half pound lighter, still.

200 was a major milestone, and each 5 pounds from here to 185 will warrant a blog update.  In the event that I reach 185, I pledge to buy drinks all night for anyone willing to celebrate with me.  This celebration, assuming my goal is reached, will be called FatFest.
